Expansion, new customers and community activities mark a record year for the company

Oakland, CA - November 13, 2008 -Oakland-based Capture Technologies, a leading provider of security and telephony integration services, announces another year of record growth for the fiscal year ending on September 30, 2008. The year’s highlights included the addition of multiple new customers, traction with existing customers and expansion into Modesto, California - all contributing to the company’s almost ten percent growth in revenue. "These are tough times for a lot of businesses, locally and nationally," states Lou Parrague, CEO of Capture Technologies. "Capture provides vital security and telephony solutions that enable businesses and government agencies to be more secure and efficient – critical elements no matter what the economic situation." Capture Technologies added a number of new customers, including Low Pay, Shift 4, Bay Alarm, Paws Up Resort, SF MUNI, APS-Arizona Water, Lacera, Loopnet, Paycycle and more. These businesses and agencies turned to Capture for its portfolio of security solutions – identification, authentication, surveillance, voice recording, emergency preparedness and access control - along with next generation VoIP (Voice over IP) solutions. Founded in 1948, Capture also celebrated its 60th anniversary this year and grew to more than 50 employees. The company also sponsored the Bullrun Car Rally, the epic Calgary to Scottsdale road rally, and the Mavericks Surf Contest, the premier surfing event in California.
